"So... we're going to Bernia Village?" Inside the traveling tavern sat a bored (H/C)-haired girl as she rested her head on top of her fist, her eyes barely paying attention to the male in front of her. Meliodas nodded as he looked at her in the eyes, his orbs brightening.
"Yep! In Bernia Village they serve the best ale in all the lands and it just so happens that I am running low on ale so I need to restock if I was to keep business going, and who knows? We might even find some intel on where another sin could be." Meliodas explained to her as (Y/n) played with her collar.
(Y/n) sighed as she looked to her left to see Elizabeth coming down the stairs with her new tavern uniform with her face covered in bright red. "U-Um... do I really have to wear this?" Elizabeth shyly asked Melidoas as he sent a smirk her way. "If you want to stay here, then yes!" Meliodas exclaimed, and in a flash, he was right in front of Elizabeth groping her breasts.
Elizabeth squeaked as her face become even brighter, though before anything else could happen Hawks was there to stop it right on time. "You pervert! Let go of Elizabeth!" Hawks yelled as he body-slammed onto Meliodas.
Looking at the scene (Y/n) sighed as she went towards the window and saw an approaching town. Turning her head slightly towards the others she decided to announce her findings.
"Hey guys, I think we're about to arrive at Bernia Village." (Y/n) announced as she stepped aside for the others to see. Elizabeth peered out of the window and saw a regular old town, though she noticed that there was no water in the river.
"Nice! Come on everyone, we have some ale to get!" Meliodas exclaimed as he began to walk towards the door, though turned around to see (Y/n) not following them. "Hey (Y/n), you coming?" Meliodas asked the bored-looking girl.
(Y/n) glanced over at the short male as she sighed. "Do I have to? Last time I checked, the deal was that I was to help you guys find these sins, not for some side-quests."(Y/n) yawned as she leaned down her head down at the table but soon felt being pulled by Meliodas, though, tried.
Hearing grunts from under her (Y/n) peered down only to see Meliodas trying to pull her towards the door only to see him fail. "Why... are you so... hard to move?!" Meliodas exclaimed as he finally gave up and laid down on the ground in exhaustion.
"Didn't have to try and move me like that, you know?" (Y/n) mumbled as she got up and pulled Meliodas with her. "Come one, you need the ale, right? Then come on, I want to see if they got any discounts." (Y/n) yawned again and walked out of the door and was introduced by the harsh rays of the sun.
Narrowing her eyes due to the brightness (Y/n) looked away from the light and walked forwards towards the town. Looking behind her she saw Elizabeth staring at her making (Y/n) tilt her head. "Hey, Elizabeth! You staying?" (Y/n) questioned her comrade as it made Elizabeth snap out of her daze and run towards the girl.
"C-Coming!" Elizabeth answered her as she finally caught up with (Y/n). Looking back forward (Y/n) felt movement from her hands causing her to glance down only to see Meliodas starting to regain his energy.
"(Y/n)... do you really have to drag me?" Meliodas sighed as he dramatically looked up at her. (Y/n) let go of Meliodas as he breathed out an 'oof' sound. Walking forwards she could hear Elizabeth's soft footsteps following right behind her as Meliodas soon joined in.
Once arriving at the small bridge the four noticed that there was truly no water left in the river making everyone's faces show confusion.
"Where's all the water?" Hawks asked as he peered down from on top of the bridge. (Y/n) huffed as she began to walk inside the village quickly losing interest in the empty river. "We'll find out later, just come on." (Y/n) said as her back was the only thing the other three could see.
Hawks sweatdropped and sighed at the (H/C)-haired girl's antiques. "Well, come on everyone! We have things to do so chop-chop!" Hawks yelled as he began to quickly trot after the mysterious girl.
Elizabeth looked over at Meliodas and back towards the retreating figures as she ran towards them with an urgent look. Meliodas saw this and couldn't help but feel a bit betrayed, I mean come on, the girl that he has been crushing on for the past 3,000 years just took a look at him and decided to go with a mysterious girl that they only met in a day, but well, so was he.
Sighing, Meliodas ran after them as his hair began to get into his orbs making him stop for a bit and continue.
Finally arriving at the village (Y/n) looked around for any signs of a discount only to find none making her puff out her cheeks in sadness. 'Not even here... what is wrong with everyone nowadays? Not even thinking about putting a discount.' (Y/n) thought as grunting and huffing could be heard up ahead.
Focusing on what's happening she saw people trying to pull something as they used chains for that. Getting curious (Y/n) walked up to the others as some men were in her way making her sigh. The three men finally noticed the girl as they glanced back with a tired expression on their faces.
"Hey kid, never seen you around." A man with a red said, his looks were ordinary. The other men decided to join in on the conversation, on which they asked for her identity. A tiny smile made into her face as she looked up towards the three.
"Just a hero for fun, nothing more." With that, the girl turned around and walked back towards her comrades leaving the confused males alone.
"Hey, (Y/n)! Where were you?" Meliodas asked the smiling female. (Y/n) glanced up towards Meliodas and nodded towards him. "Just talking to some people." (Y/n) responded and walked back towards where Elizabeth and Hawks were.
Meliodas nodded and looked away from the bored-looking female, though something was bothering him.
'My chest hurts... but why? Must be nothing, happens to people, I guess.' Meliodas thought to himself as he immediately replaced his confused frown with his usual happy and bright smile.
Following the group of three, Meliodas finally caught up with them and placed his hand onto (Y/n) arm making her look down at the short male.
"Hey, (Y/n)! What's going on here?" Meliodas questioned the (H/C)-haired girl as she merely shrugged and looked back at the exhausted men. "That's what we're trying to find out." (Y/n) yawned as she pushed aside the crowd as she headed for the center though was stopped by a kid who was running to the center.
The kid had ginger hair that was in a weird hairstyle and brown eyes, freckles could be seen. His expression was ignorant and yet with a hint of anger.
"Your all pathetic!" The ginger-haired kid exclaimed as he stoled towards the exhausted men and the buried sword. Sounds of protest soon sounded throughout the village as pointed glares found their way to the angry kid.
"Which Holy Knight does this sword belong to? Well, whoever it was their no match for my friend, a Deadly Sin!" The kid exclaimed as he proudly pointed at himself. However, not all people shared his happiness. "Mead! Do you know what your saying?! Don't mention the names of such criminals!" The old lady yelled at the kid who we now know is named Mead.
"So... his name is Mead? Sounds plain." (Y/n) said as she stuffed her hand onto her pockets. Meliodas looked over at her and snickered, though quickly hid it from everyone else, but (Y/n) noticed this and let it go.
"What do you even have against us?!" A so-called adult exclaimed as he began to angrily yell at the little kid. "What? This... this isn't what I wanted." Mead mumbled to himself as he began to shrink himself.
Soon, a rock was hurtling its way towards Mead, though before Meliodas could go in front of him and protect Mead, a figure was faster and protected him instead. As the cloud of smoke began to disperse the bored-looking female appeared with a slightly pissed-off expression on her features.
"You know... hurting a little kid just because your angry isn't exactly very adult-like. In fact, I could have mistaken you all for a bunch of toddlers throwing tantrums if it weren't for your warts." (Y/n) snarled at the group of angry people as the too snarled back.
"Why you-!" Soon, more rocks began to be thrown at both of them as (Y/n) ran away from them with Mead and the others soon followed along.
